One thing about where I live is though the Summers do get pretty hot and very humid it is pretty nice weather year-round. We don’t have freezing cold winters yet get the weather in the 30’s and occasional snow. Spring is a bit rainy and this year it has been very wet. I finally got my garden planted and it seems to be doing well. I also worked two days in the rose garden and it is coming along nicely. we have had bad storms so we have a day outside a day of rain it seems. I had planned to finish the rose garden but family issues arose. Maybe today I can get that finished and start another garden project.
With all the work changes we haven’t been cooking as much over here as usual with me sick and just the two of us. and I pan-grilled some pork chops. I did make a very good broccoli salad that even my grandson ate.
BROCCOLI SALAD 1-2 heads finely chopped broccoli ( florets only), 1 half large onion chopped very finely. 4 pieces bacon cooked and crumbled. Mix this together in a medium bowl. Add two tablespoons ranch and mayonnaise and a tablespoon of honey mustard. Salt Pepper and I added a little onion powder and garlic powder about one tsp sugar (if not its kid of bitter) Mix well and enjoy.

Oh my gosh, the mention of pork chops makes me want breakfast! Also, I wasn’t able to comment on the top post about gardens– no comment section. Anyway, my mother had a glorious green thumb. My husband, too. Me not so much. We always loved fried green tomatoes.
I don’t understand why sometimes the comments section disappears but if your on a phone I noticed it is small letters says comments and at top of post click there and it takes you to comments or it worked for me once. Let me know if it keeps happening and I’ll contact my host thanks
