Spring is right around the corner but it is still cold right now in most places, or some parts of the world it is summer. Either way, we want to cuddle up and read. Check out this book fair from Hydra Publications. A few of my friends are featured. First up is the multitalented Ellie Mack here to tell us about three books she has in the fair then Misty Harvey with her Horror book. Hi Ellie!
Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve been a guest here, or anywhere for a while. Thank you, Cathy! I miss our morning sprints and conversations. I am excited to be included in this book fair sponsored by Hydra Publications online that is going on right now! It covers multiple genres so there is something for everyone. A few of my books are listed in different genres –
Red Wine & Roses is in contemporary romance. True love conquers all but can it conquer a supermodel ex- girlfriend. https://books2read.com/u/3k1LEW
Roxy Sings the Blues is in romance suspense – When life deals Roxy a lousy hand, will she overcome or be left singing the blues?

And my personal favorite so far – The Awakening in general fiction. Helena has felt out of sorts since her parents were killed. Opportunity arises to go to her the place her father’s family came from, fate meets her there. She was made for far more than this mortal life.

It also includes a phenomenal book by my soul sista – Misty Harvey. I’ll let her tell you about her book. I just have to say though, her book is the most terrifying thing I’ve read since H.P. Lovecraft!
Thank you for that amazing introduction, Ellie, and thank you Cat for allowing us to appear here on your blog. I have the honor of participating with a lot of great authors in a multi-genre book fair. It has allowed so many to find books and authors in a variety of genres.
I myself have had the pleasure of my horror novel, Malevolent Mind, being accepted among all the others. This particular novel holds a very dear spot in my heart. The idea for the book came to me after watching a particularly scary movie only partway through. Without finishing the movie, I have to admit that there are parts of it and memories from the movie that still scares me to this day. So, I thought, what happens if you only partially write a novel? Especially a horror novel on paper that held enchantments to bring the very creature of your imagination to life? Would you be brave and fast enough to finish the novel and end the creature? Or will she win her freedom by ending the writer first?
All of this happens to a young boy named Kade, who wished nothing more than to be a horror writer like his father. Only this wasn’t quite the fate he’d imagined. Now, he has to save them all from the revenge of a childhood victim of his father’s.
If you are interested in this novel here is the blurb:
An unfinished story has a way of driving the sanest to the brink of insanity.
Raven has a score to settle. In her younger years, Heath and his friends were continually bullying her and her twin. Left with unanswered questions of what exactly happened Raven seeks revenge. Fate opened a door and she becomes the nanny for Heath’s young son, Kade. She helps him start a horror story with the plan to bring the horrible creature Kade created into the real world to torment Heath and his friends. It was perfect until the plan unraveled. When Kade’s creation no longer wishes to do Raven’s bidding, it becomes a fight for life or death. The only way to survive is to figure out how to finish off the creature before she finds her freedom. Will Kade find a way to stop the creation of his malevolent mind before Raven’s revenge consume them all?
