Do you like sexy vampires or hot weres? What about gorgeous ghosts, witches, warlocks, mages or dragons?
This month we are going to party all month long with some of your favorite authors or new to you ones. We will have tricks and treats galore so come join us every day in October for tricks, treats and a huge giveaway!
Today’s guest, Flossie Benton Rogers, writes about Wytchfae (individuals trained in witchery and with a smattering of fae blood running through their veins), goddesses, dark guardians, ghosts, warriors, shifters, angels, and other beings of myth and magic.
Cat: Hello, Flossie, tell us about a favorite trick you pulled.
Flossie: This is somewhat of a “reverse trick” and one of my favorite childhood memories. My mother had a family restaurant in our small town, a hub of main street. Back then, Halloween was a community event. Children dressed up in costumes, marched in a parade, went on hay rides, and received many homemade treats from friends and neighbors. With so much friendliness and good eats, there was not much need of tricks, but soaping windows was always a possibility. During Halloween, my mother allowed and even encouraged the neighborhood boys to soap the huge storefront windows of the restaurant. I always thought this showed her tendency toward humor and good natured fun—and also her practical streak. We certainly had clean windows at the beginning of November.
Cat: That is a great Idea.
