Today’s guest is Leona Bushman. Leona writes about werewolves, werebears, witches, zombies, etc. She just can’t make up her mind.

Cat: Hello, Leona. Tell us about a favorite trick you pulled on a friend or family member.

Leona: Well, I don’t do many of those. I can’t really recall one well enough to tell the story. I’m not hella good at keeping secrets or telling jokes, and it sorta makes me awful at trying to pull tricks! Lol So I guess I’m better at the treat end of things! I like to make people smile and laugh, so I do puns and make treats for them since I can’t seem to tell a joke right! LOL.

Cat: What are your top 5-6 favorite things about Halloween and fall.

Movie: Nightmare Before Christmas

Book: Well, that depends on the day. So many books, so little time.

Food: Pumpkin and apple all the things.

Drink: Pumpkin spice nitro/kicker cold brew. Like, it’s my new thing. Before that? Probably just coffee…of whatever flavor, as long as there was flavor! LOL

Activity: All the things. I love the fall. The colors, the leaves, the walking, driving, hiking, trick or treating with the kids, making costumes… This is my favorite time of Year. Halloween is my second favorite holiday as well. It would be tied for first except I have severe, SEVERE, arachnophobia.

Cat: I love Halloween and making treats for the kids or themed dinners do you have a favorite craft or recipe?

Leona: All sorts of things. As I stated above. LOL I make up foods as I go along, but I make bread and cookies worth dying for. And just overall having the weather cool enough to bake again is amazing. Plus, I crochet and sew and paint and stuff. I have some fun things I’ve made, including costumes. I don’t have any recipes really written that I can find right now. I mostly just go go go. LOL

Cat: What book have you come to talk about today?

Leona: I think I’ll go For an oldie but goodie today. Slow Fever. I have half a mind to make it a series. Even started the next book, but it was lost on old laptop, so we’ll see. 😊

But I’m getting ahead of myself.

It all started one morning before work. Me getting my teen to do his part, my teen pretending to argue, you know, a normal day. A day like any other day, or so I thought…
