Today in the spotlight is a dear friend of mine that is a real inspiration to me, V. L. Locey, to tell us how she celebrated New Year’s Day, what goals she set for 2019 and about her new release One-On-One (Cayuga Cougars #5).

Hello V.L.

I’d like to start off by thanking Cathy for having me here today! It’s always a joy to drop by and visit and wish everyone a happy 2019.

My New Year’s Eve was a quiet one, as most are here on the hillside farm. Hubster and I watched some Rangers hockey, sipped on some blackberry wine, and fell asleep way before the ball fell. But that’s rural life. Things are generally pretty laid back up here in the mountains of Pennsylvania.

This time of year we’re always getting our resolutions in order. I generally don’t make resolutions but I do try to set some goals for my year, both professionally and personally. So, here are a few things I’m aiming for in 2019…

Keep writing gay romances that make my heart sing.
Travel a bit.
Work on maintaining my path to a healthy lifestyle.
Greet each day with a smile.
Be kind.
Do my best to remain a faithful and upbeat Rangers fan even during these dark rebuild days.
