A Flashy and Frosty Christmas by Misty Harvey, Ellie Mack and more #charity #breastcancerfundraiser #Aflashyandfrostychristmas

This week we have a special surprise not one but a group of talented authors with their new anthology to raise money for Breast Cancer research. I asked why did you choose this particular movie for your story inspiration?

Hello Misty!

Hello, Readers!

First, I’d like to thank Cat for the chance to spotlight on her amazing blog. It has been through this latest anthology that I have gotten the great opportunity to meet some incredible authors and give back to a charity that holds a very dear place in my heart, Cancer Research Institute.

Cat asked me to answer the question on why I chose to do ‘You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch’ as my song. That credit actually goes to one of my co-authors, Ellie Mack. She is the one that mentioned it to me when I was struggling to come up with one that wasn’t taken.

Talk about a face palm moment for me, though. The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is one of my ultimate favorite Christmas movies. I refuse to celebrate the holidays until I watch the cartoon version of it and the one starring Jim Carrey. I even have it on my list to go see the animated version now too. It will be fun.

Thank you again, Cat for the chance to spotlight on your blog and promote A Flashy & Frosty Christmas Charity Anthology that benefits the Cancer Research Institute on your blog. Without further ado, let me introduce you to the book.

Tricia Anderson: I chose “Happy Christmas” for “It Will Be a Merry Christmas” because the family is in a war. Micah literally returned from a war zone of sorts. To step inside and find his wife decorating the Christmas tree put the conflict in the background and at least for a little while he had peace.

Ellie Mack: I chose 4 Carat Christmas because I had heard the song and thought how many girls want an engagement ring for Christmas? How many of those girls are disappointed? It’s kind of an anti-romance short. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer was a bit of fun. I thought what if we had a Zombie Christmas story? Yeah, I was in a mood and thought it was funny at the time, hope the readers think so.

Linda Greene:  I chose that particular song, because the moment I saw it the plot just came to me and the piece wrote itself.

Author Maria Vickers:  I chose the songs I did because they are some of my favorite. They each speak to me in a different way and bring back wonderful memories from growing up and spending time with my family
