Getting it together #amwriting #amorganizing #gettingfit #awriterslife

Over the past year, there has been a lot going on in my life. Lots of family issues, health, and just life.I gained a good 20 pounds and had some stomach issues, test after test and still no results. Good news is They didn’t find anything serious. bad news, I still have a lot of stomach trouble and pain. I finally decided to just deal with it. One more pain to have to handle.

My house is a mess too. So much clutter.

I let go of my writing as well. I have worked on getting Baseball Bats and Cowboy Hats ready to publish but slowly. I took on a short story for an anthology and got that published last week as you have seen. This month I have made baby steps. Even if I do one little wall or one hour of a task I am happy.I still need more focus since I am all over the place. I have cleaned my stove and it looks great and the section over my kitchen sink which was very nasty LOL.

So once again I am trying to pull myself together, organize my writing, eating healthier and getting fit and organizing my house.

Over the next several weeks I will be talking about my writing process, how I hope will get me focused and get Baseball Bats and Cowboy Hats out before fall or at least this year.

I will be posting pictures of my decluttering and organizing, and also posting healthier recipes and tips my weight loss(I hope) and exercise I manage. I have decided to post publicly as much as I can to hold me accountable.

Have you found your life in disarray? what can you do to make it better? Feel free to join me!

  1. I’m on a weight loss trek and adding more movement into my life for health reasons. I’m cleaning out because I plan on moving in the next few months, depending on upcoming medical tests. Sounds like we’re kind of on the same journey. Wishing you good luck with all your tasks and your writing.

    • I Hope your tests come back good! Good luck on the move too! My weight loss trek is for getting healthier as well. I am past the age of doing it for looks lOL

  2. I think you do amazing. You get so much accomplished, including the writing and publishing dream.

I always feel better eating low carb / keto. Cleaner. I still need more energy, but low carb does help me a lot with that. Sugar and flour are apparently my arch enemies.
