a comedy/mystery/romance novel

Theatre professor Nicky Abbondanza is directing a Sherlock Holmes musical in a professional summer stock production at Treemeadow College, co-starring his husband and theatre professor colleague Noah Oliver as Dr. John Watson. When cast members begin toppling over like hammy actors at a curtain call, Nicky dons Holmes’ persona on stage and off. Once again Nicky and Noah will need to use their drama skills to figure out who is lowering the street lamps on the actors before the handsome couple gets half-baked on Baker Street. You will be applauding and shouting Bravo for Joe Cosentino’s fast-paced, side-splittingly funny, edge-of-your-seat entertaining fifth novel in this delightful series. Curtain up, the game is afoot!

My Review

Cover Love. I love all these covers for this series. They are befitting and funny.
Nicky and Noah are back home at TreeMeadow and putting on a summer production of Holmes is a Homo (such a fun title) Everything is going wrong and Nicky is worried about opening night then thing get…. Worse(did you think I was going to say better?) Bodies start dropping but the show must go on. Nicky puts on his detective hat (literally)to solve the case and keep his show going.

These stories are always so much fun to read. You can count on lots of laughs and a mystery that is hard to crack. I just knew I had this one but I was wrong. All of the characters are well written, quirky, and add the perfect touch to the story.
The plot is a mystery with lots of twists and turns. We also have Nicky’s brother and their adopted son Taavi as well.

If you like mystery, lots of puns, twists, a barrel of laughs, cute kids and some hot mostly off page man-love you will love this book. If you haven’t read any of these books, no worries, this stands alone just fine but I do recommend all the others.

I hope that there are more to follow.” Crystals Many Reviewers

Praise for DRAMA CRUISE, the third Nicky and Noah mystery:

“Superb fun from start to finish, for me this series gets stronger with every book and that’s saying something because the benchmark was set so very high with book 1.” Three Books Over the Rainbow

Joe Cosentino does it again with Drama Cruise, the third Nicky and Noah mystery. I loved the humor, drama, and theater work inside. Plus, the romance and murder investigation keep readers turning the pages. Absolutely, must read this latest book in the series.” Urban Book Reviews

“I have been an avid reader of Joe Cosentino’s books for some time and he has yet to let me down. His ability to write highly original, yet somehow realistic, characters is one of his greatest strengths as a writer. Their quirks and personalities fill the pages in a way that makes for a fabulously entertaining and totally engrossing read. I loved this book and highly recommend it to lovers of farce, humour, murder mystery and sweet MM love stories.” Divine Magazine

“The characters are charming and entertaining….had me in stitches….This is the delightful third episode in the Nicky and Noah Mystery series. It is a fun-filled and entertaining murder mystery for LGBT cozy mystery fans.” Readers’ Favorite

“Each (Nicky and Noah mystery) is a wonderful mixture of sex, comedy, romance and murder, but when Cosentino took it to an Alaska cruise and the high seas, well, it tossed it up into theatrically delicious magic….I loved this story. I love this couple. What on earth is going to happen to them next? I can’t wait to find out.” Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words

“The Nicky and Noah Mysteries series are perfect for fans of the Cozy Mystery sub-genre. They mix tongue-in-cheek humor, over-the-top characters, a wee bit of political commentary, and suspense into a sweet little mystery solved by Nicky and Noah, theatre professors for whom all the world’s a stage.” Prism Book Alliance

“fast-paced, action-packed story….fabulous cast of characters….if you love a murder mystery then this book is for you.” Books Laid Bare Boys

“As this highly entertaining story rolls on, I find myself laughing and getting into the who- done-it craze. This is a great book, it made me feel happy just reading it. The main characters are almost perfect, which just makes things better.” Crystal’s Many Reviewers

“The humor is laugh-out-loud, he didn’t just say that, funny. The scenes of affection occur mostly off-stage, behind closed doors, yet remain joyfully suggestive and highly sensual. Every character gets his due and the ending will have you sniffling with happiness.” Diane Nelson, Sand in My Shoes Reviews

Praise for Drama Luau, the fourth Nicky and Noah mystery:

“Joe Cosentino has a unique and fabulous gift. His writing is flawless, and his use of farce, along with his convoluted plot-lines, will have you guessing until the very last page, which makes his books a joy to read. His books are worth their weight in gold, and if you haven’t discovered them yet you are in for a rare treat. DRAMA LUAU joins his other books on my 5-star reread shelf. It may actually be my favourite one yet! Highly recommended.”

Divine Magazine

“a combination of Laurel and Hardy mixed with Hitchcock and Murder She Wrote…

Loaded with puns and one-liners…Right to the end, you are kept guessing, and the conclusion still has a surprise in store for you.” Optimumm Book Reviews

“I had no clue until the end of who or why was doing the murders, this one the why was really a big surprise!…If you are looking for a fast-paced, fun story that will make you laugh, I highly recommend this one!” TTC Books & More

“adventure, mystery, and romance with every page….Funny, clever, and sweet….I can’t find anything not to love about this series….This read had me laughing and falling in love….Nicky and Noah are my favorite gay couple.” Urban Book Reviews

“For fans of Joe Cosentino’s hilarious mysteries, this is another vintage story with more cheeky asides and sub plots right left and centre….The story is fast paced, funny and sassy. The writing is very witty with lots of tongue-in-cheek humour….Highly recommended.” Boy Meets Boy Reviews

“This delightfully sudsy, colorful cast of characters would rival that of any daytime soap opera, and the character exchanges are rife with sass, wit and cagey sarcasm….As the pages turn quickly, the author keeps us hanging until the startling end….The murder mystery makes for a veritable feast of innuendo and intrigue, while the storyline involving Taavi is both endearing and uplifting. Most importantly, we can rest assured this won’t be the last we’ve heard from Nicky and Noah.” Edge Media Network

“A laugh and a murder, done in the style we have all come to love….This had me from the first paragraph….Another wonderful story with characters you know and love! This can be read as a standalone, but I think to really understand the relationships between the characters reading them in order is better. Plus, they are all great books.” Crystal’s Many Reviewers

“These two are so entertaining….Their tactics in finding clues and the crazy funny interactions between characters keeps the pages turning. For most of the book if I wasn’t laughing I was grinning.” Jo and Isa Love Books
