Mea has an even darker past and never lets a man in her life. Until she met Drake. One night three years ago he broke a rule… yet three years later she has to face him again since she is best friends with Berkely and He is best friends with Dare and they are both working together on the wedding. Then she finds out she never told him the rules, so she gives him a second chance.
I loved Drake. I love a dark, brooding man( and loved the cover). I loved how he was so devoted to Mea and protective. I liked Mea as well. I loved the contrast between her and Drake her being Tiny but so strong and confident…A real survivor from her past and not a whiny victim.
The story does have some dark parts in Meas past so there could be emotional triggers. It was hard for me at first, but I was invested in the characters, so I pushed through. I am glad I did.
Man Of Honor is book three in the Battle Scars series. It does stand alone, but I think it would be better read in order. I plan to get the other two books.
If you like ex-military men, Mechanics, Dark Brooding men, strong women and some scorching sex I think you will like this.
