A walk in the park

Every day Dad and I try to take a morning walk. Sunday it was rainy but in the afternoon it cleared up.

The Mark Twain riverboat. It runs  hour long cruises and some 2 hour dinner cruises.

We usually take a different route around town or by the river each day. There Is so much to see. We can walk up town,to the river or climb steps ot the lighthouse. to day we went to the river and the park.

When we got back we looked at his flowers he planted in the back.

He decided we needed to trim the rose bush out of his new plant and tied it up. Since he can’t bend or chance anything getting in his eye I got the honors of working with the testy rose bush. I finally managed getting it  tied up to dad’s liking. I  got  squishy mud between my toes, so when we went in I had to wash the bottoms of our shoes.

I did however grab me a few of the daisies he has growing and found a pretty blue soup bowl, using the technique I saw on TV today

DSC00241I produced this lovely  bouquet.

I will miss this when I get home since I won’t have this luxury.

Do you have a pretty park you like walking in?

  1. When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox
and now each time a comment is added I get three emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
    Thank you!

    • I am sorry you get so many of the same. The only way I know how ot stop it is you go into one of the emails and it should say manage your blog and you can remove yourself from that comment stream. I find if I subscribe to comments I get the same thing a lot so I usually only follow the blogs not the comment feeds. Thanks for stopping by
