#mondayblog-Come with me on a virtual tour of Hannibal

Hello everyone! This week I am not doing a Ro-Manic Monday since I am still at my dad’s. I don’t have internet so cant research and I don’t have a lot of time since I have been helping dad with his chores going on daily walks with him and getting his meals and eye drops in. On Saturday my brother, his wife, and kids stopped by to visit dad. After I got his drops in.  He stayed home to watch a poker tournament and I went on a walk with  the family. I try to spend a lot of time with them when I am here since I only get here once or twice a year.

I thought I would share some of the pictures I took on some of mine and Dad’s walks and our walk yesterday.  Enjoy!!

It has been flooded here, so the sea wall has been in place it is actually two large  steel walls.  They took them down a couple days before the festival last week. I toook these photos through dads window on the third floor.

The wall has been lifted and is on the truck–        they lift the wall then lay it flat on the ground

thhey take it over to a structure that holds them uprigh near the levee and lift them up and into place.  this one goes above after they lay it on the ground they liftit straight up onto the truck.

it was rather interesting to watch…not easy to photograph since it took nearly an hour to do both.

Here are a couple shots  of Dads potted plants out back . The tenants can use pots for plants  or have a small plot to garden if they want.. the tiney frogs invaded the parking lot the other day after a big rain! They are so cute I wanted some!
