Cat: Today our guest is C.W. Gray. Hello C.W. Are you ready for Christmas?

C.W.: Hi! I am SO ready for Christmas. This is the time of year for presents, candy, and feel-good movies and books. Speaking of candy, later today, I’m going to start making fudge. I always make a bunch and share it with my neighbors. Since I’m not the greatest cook, this is my sole contribution to my family’s Christmas baking. It’s so easy to make!

Fudge:

All you do is follow these directions:

1). Melt one twelve-ounce bag of frosting on the stove (low heat),

2). Slowly add chips from a twelve-ounce bag of cooking chips. You can mix and match all kinds of flavors. My favorite is cream cheese frosting and peanut butter chips. It’s soooooo good.

3). Add about a fourth of a cup of condensed milk and stir it all together.

4). Once it is all mixed together, all you have to do is pour it into an 8×8 pan (I put wax paper in the pan) and let it chill for an hour in the refrigerator.

Then you have delicious fudge! If I can make it, anyone can.

As for presents, I finished my Christmas shopping a few days ago and put up my trees and all of my decorations last weekend. The only thing I have left to do is hang my Christmas card garland. I use cute little clips to hang Christmas cards on a ribbon above my Christmas tree. This year, it’s penguin clips

I keep every Christmas card I’ve received in a big box with my Christmas decorations and hang them all around my house during the holidays. They always remind me of my friends and family.

In fact, this is one of my favorite holidays because I get to spend time with my sister and brothers. We’re all grown up, but when you get us together, we act like kids. Family is really important to me and it shows in all of my books. I have four m/m romance series out and all of them feature strong family bonds, found family, and good friendships. My most recent book released Thursday, December 5th and is book seven in the Hobson Hills Omegas series. It’s a holiday book that explores family relationships and supportive friendships.

Story takes place in the Omegaverse. Hobson Hills Omegas: Book Seven

Juan Vega lives in a town full of loving families and happy couples. As he watches his best friends fall in love, he can’t help but wish for his own omega. He’s been in love with Jackson since he met him, but it doesn’t look like there will ever be a future for them. When Bennett Wilson urges Juan to make a Christmas wish, everything changes.

Jackson Potts may be young, but he has plenty of experience with overbearing, abusive alphas. After watching the way his own biological alpha grandfather and father treated their omegas, Jackson swears he will never date an alpha. He knows there are good alphas out there, but he can’t bring himself to trust his own heart to any, even his own friend. The problem is, a certain alpha is very hard to resist.

With a little holiday luck, these two men may just find happiness.

Author’s Note: Around 40,000 words. This is a m/m, non-shifter, mpreg insta-love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. There are a few potty mouths, so beware. 18+ readers only, please. It is the seventh book in the series and should be read after the book 6.5., “Grey’s Gift.”

How about a little more? Excerpt:

“Uncle Jay! Guess what? Guess what?” Linc bounced in place, arms full of the family’s pet rabbit, Huckleberry.

Jackson grinned. “What?”

“Artie is going to come with Iggy to story time. He’s gonna play us all the sunshine song,” Linc said.

Jackson smiled. “The sunshine song? Really?”

“Really! He promised.” Linc turned to Yeo. “Papa, can Iggy and I dress up Hucky when he gets here?”

Yeo blinked. “Why does Huckleberry need to dress up?”

“It’s cold,” Linc said, tone letting them all know that should have been obvious. “Uncle Ernie made him a new sweater.”

Jackson shook his head and went back to restocking shelves. Huckleberry probably hated sweaters, but most animals would. Personally, he loved dressing Miss Mona up, but she was special and obviously superior to every other dog in town.

He froze in place, a stack of books in his arms. What if every pet in town were dressed like bears? Would it be scary or cute? What if Hobson Hills had a pet pageant? Miss Mona would obviously win, but would that hurt the other pets’ feelings, or would they see it as a growing experience?

“Hey, Jay.” Juan’s deep voice came from behind him. “Thoughts heavy? You look like that big statue of the guy thinking real hard.”

Jackson spun around and tried for a deep, brooding look. “My thoughts are too much for mortal men.”

Juan laughed, and warmth settled in Jackson’s chest. Smiling should be illegal, he thought, wanting to trace Juan’s smile with his tongue.

“Is Dolly’s Diamonds and Dragons meeting at your house tonight?” Juan asked, still chuckling. “I can never remember the schedule.”

Jackson started putting the books on the shelf in front of him. “Yes, it is. Remember to bring the guacamole. Yours is so much better than Rosemary’s.” He turned back around, eyes wide. “Don’t you dare tell her I said that.”

Juan grinned. “I’ll keep your secret, Jay.”

Jackson handed Juan a few of the books. “Make yourself useful and put this out on the top shelf. What are you up to today?”

Juan reached above him, and Jackson paused to breathe in the smell of leather and warm skin. Why does he have to smell so good?
