Good morning! I’m Katherine Smits and so happy to be a guest on Cathy Writes Romance. Today, I’m excited to share with you some breaking news about an anthology coming soon. I’m honored to be one of the authors for A Darker Shade of Evil: A Demon and Devil Anthology.

Scheduled for release September 2019, this is a collection of urban fantasy and paranormal romance tales from ten USA Today, International best-selling, or award-winning authors. All include either a demon or the devil. The heat level is steamy to erotic, and Happily Ever After is assured.

Demons and the devil are always popular subjects in literature. As humans, we have a fascination with good versus evil and with trying to explain why bad things happen, often to people who deserve much better.

Many of the stories in this collection address these themes.

Do you believe in demons and the devil? Is evil simply an opposite, natural force of the universe, the yin duality to the power of yang? Or can it be personified by entities hostile to mankind or the vengeful spirits of deceased humans? There are so many explanations. I’d love to hear what you think.
