Books

Painted On my Heart Kindle Alexander Self-published

Painted on My Heart is on my favorites for 2017, and Kellus and Arik on my favorite couples list.

I loved all the characters and the plot of the story.  Painted On my Heart also deals with HIV.

Service with a Smirk by Ariel Tachna  Dreamspinner Press

I like this book on many levels. First of all The May.December (older man?Younger man) trope is one of my all time favorites.  I also love broken men and Pascal is so sad. I rooted for him to find love again. I liked that they did not rush into anything and that each man at one time or other tried to move the relationship on. I also liked that Mathias, even though he was small and twinkish was unyielding, probably the stronger of the two. And the kicker was the writer ladies that were friends of Pascals.  Not to forget I love picturesque settings, and this is in Canada with a very French feeling.

Patchwork Paradise is such a sad but sweet story.  I cried so much, not all sad. There is twist after twist all the way to the end. It is definitely not predictable! I loved when Oliver changed Thomas baby first diaper. I loved Craig’s cooing voice when he did all the baby talk.

or the first sex scene with Thomas and Oliver. It was all really hot…then the baby cried. I loved it when Oliver told Thomas to go get the baby, he was going to get ice packs for his blue balls.

Movie

We watched Deep Water Horizon this week.

4 Meows

It was Ok. There was a lot of action and seeing something based on reality was interesting. Mark Wahlberg starring in it didn’t hurt LOL

I hope you enjoyed my week in review. I hope you find some good books to read an audio or movie. If you had a favorite this week, you would like to share a post in comments. I am always looking for good entertainment! See ya Next week!
